In this training, I will give you an overview of the Options tab in Managenable® risk template software.

In the Home tab, the link towards the Options tab is available on the lower right part. When you click on that link, you reach the Options tab.

The top part of the Options tab is its table of contents.

The Options tab has 3 different sets of features.

Modules Management.

Modules Management Section

Behaviour Management.

Behaviour Management Section

And, Data Management.

Data Management Section

The hyperlinks enable you to reach the section where you can then activate or deactivate the feature you selected.

The section Modules Management, enables you to activate or deactivate different modules.

A module is a tab, or a group of tabs, dedicated to an aspect of risk management practice.

You can, show or hide the modules you need whenever you want.

This risk template software offers great flexibility to risk management practitioners.
For more information on the Modules Management feature, please refer to the relevant training.

The section Behaviour Management, enables you to manage some aspects of the behaviour of this risk management application.

Behaviour Management Section

These features are available for a variety of reasons, such as, for user convenience, for facilitating both data and formulas integrity throughout the application, and for helping to protect cells against accidental modification.
For more information on each one of these features, please refer to the relevant training: Manage Rows When Activating Tabs, Manage New Risk Status In Registers, Manage Calculations In Dependent Tabs, Manage Paste Values Only, Manage Window Activation, Manage Protection.

The section Data Management, enables you to delete data in this risk workbook, and import data from other Risk Managenable® workbooks.

Data Management Section

These features are rarely used, yet they can be extremely useful.

For example, you would use the Delete Data feature if you wanted to delete all data in this risk management workbook, while preserving all the parameters you set.

And you would use the Delete and Import Data feature if you wanted to import data from another Risk Managenable® workbook into this risk workbook with its current parameters.

Please note that these features take a few minutes to complete.

Finally, this Options tab is protected by a password.

Important Notes Section

The intent is to protect the Options tab from any accidental modification, and to do so with a different password than those of the Manage Protection feature, hence giving you some extra flexibility.

You can protect or unprotect this Options’ tab anytime you want by going to the menu, selecting Review, then selecting the button for Sheet protection.
