Transcript and Screenshots for Options: Modules Management
In this training, I will briefly explain the feature Modules Management in the Options tab of Managenable® risk template software.
The section Modules Management, is available to show or hide modules.
A module is a group of tabs dedicated to an aspect of risk management practice, such as risk Treatment, risk Control, Key Risk Indicators, or risk Interaction.
You can show or hide modules whenever you want.
When you hide a module, then, any data entered in the tabs of this module, is preserved for later use. It is only hidden.
In other words, you do not have to activate all modules to start using this risk management tool.
Instead, you can activate only those modules that are useful to you now, and activate other modules later on, when necessary.
Please note that if you decide to hide some modules, it is recommended to activate the feature Manage New Risk Status in Registers, under the section Behaviour Management.
For more information, please refer to the relevant training.
You can show or hide individual modules, and, you can show or hide All Tabs for Data, and, All Tabs for Automation.
Indeed, for each module, there are 2 types of tabs.
As an example, let’s give a look at the KRI module.
There are tabs for Data, and, tabs for Automation.
Tabs for Data, include those tabs which are used for entering or selecting data, such as registers, custom lists, and charts.
Tabs for Automation, include those tabs which are used for setting up parameters, for preparing charts, and for the calculation of datasets when using the data filters’ section of the charts’ tab.
To show or hide tabs, simply click on the drop-down list, and select what you want to do.
Please note that upon selecting an item, your screen may temporarily blink and freeze for a brief moment, while the application is showing or hiding the tabs.
You can show or hide tabs for data…
… and, separately, you can show or hide tabs for automation.
When you choose to show tabs, the links towards those tabs are activated…
… a green v-shaped symbol is displayed…
… and, a comment mentions the visible status of these tabs.
When you choose to hide tabs, the links towards those tabs are deactivated…
… a red x-shaped symbol is displayed…
… and, a comment mentions the hidden status of these tabs.
If you choose to hide data tabs, for example, for the KRI module, then, the Home tab displays the current hidden status of this module.
Similarly, the ID Report tab displays the hidden status of this section…
… and, the Preset Report tab displays the same.
Finally, the Status tab, displays the hidden status of the module in the risk application.
