In the Options tab, the link towards the feature Manage Window Activation is available under the section Behaviour Management.
When you click on that link, you reach the section where you can enable, or disable, the feature.
The window this feature refers to, is the window of the risk workbook itself.
This window is activated, or deactivated, each time you switch back-and-forth between the risk workbook, and another workbook, or software.
When this feature is enabled, each time you activate this risk management application, a recalculation of formulas occurs.
This is particularly useful to keep data up-to-date, especially if you dynamically linked this risk workbook, with another workbook, or database.
However, when this feature is enabled, you cannot paste in this risk workbook, any cells which were copied from outside of it.
It is recommended to keep this feature enabled for the regular use of this risk workbook, which is when you are not pasting cells from outside of it.
When this feature is disabled, each time you activate this risk management application, there is no recalculation of formulas that occurs.
However, when this feature is not enabled, your data may not be up-to-date if you dynamically linked this risk workbook with another workbook or database.
It is required to disable this feature when you are pasting cells from another workbook.
To enable or disable this feature, simply click on the drop-down list and select the item you want.
Please note that each time you select an item in this drop-down list, the calculation tree of this risk workbook is fully rebuilt, which may take a few seconds.
