In the Options tab, the link towards the feature Manage New Risk Status in Registers is available under the section Behaviour Management.
When you click on that link, you reach the section where you can enable or disable the feature.
As an example, we will use the Treatment Register tab.
However, since nothing is yet filled-up for this new Risk ID in those register tabs, the validity status in these tabs will display an orange exclamation mark, which states that there is an issue for this Risk ID.
And, this validity status may cause some unnecessary concerns in terms of the overall data integrity status of the risk management tool.
The feature Manage New Risk Status in Registers exists to prevent this issue from happening.
When this feature is enabled, and a new risk record is created in the Risk Register tab, then, in the column Use of Info in this Tab, the value Override and Set the Status as Valid is automatically entered.
With this override status, even if cells which must be filled-up are still empty, the validity status for this new Risk ID will be green and valid.
This way, the data Integrity status will not cause any trouble, and will remain valid, for good reason, until you decide to update that record.
When you are ready to address the use of information in this tab for this new Risk ID, then simply select a new choice in the drop-down list under the column Use of Info in this tab.
To enable or disable this feature, simply click on the drop-down list and select the item you want.
Each time you select an item in this drop-down list, the calculation tree of this risk workbook is fully rebuilt, which may take a few seconds.
