In this training, I will briefly explain the feature Manage Calculation in Dependent Tabs in the Options tab of Managenable® risk template software.
In the Options tab, the link towards the feature Manage Calculation in Dependent Tabs is available under the section Behaviour Management.
When you click on that link, you reach the section where you can enable or disable the feature.
This feature applies to the following tabs: Home, Preset Report, Risk Charts, Risk Matrix, Treatment Charts, Control Charts, KRI Charts, and, Interaction Charts.
Actually, this feature also applies to Filters, Presets, and Status tabs, which are used for background automation.
When this feature is enabled, and one of these tabs is being activated, the application automatically forces the recalculation of precedent and dependent tabs.
This is to ensure that the tab, once activated, is up-to-date before the user starts selecting Presets or Data Filters.
When this feature is disabled, the application does not force these recalculations each time those tabs are activated.
It is recommended to enable this feature, even if it may slightly, most of the time imperceptibly, slows down the refreshing of these tabs when activating them.
However, you may want to temporarily disable this feature when you do some programming in those tabs.
To enable or disable this feature, simply click on the drop-down list and select the item you want.
