Transcript and Screenshots for Common Features: Top Left Corner Of Tabs
In this training, I will briefly explain the top left corner of tabs, in Managenable® risk template software.
This training applies to all tabs, except the Home tab.
As an example, let’s have a look at the Risk Register tab.
The top left corner of all tabs includes the same elements, with a couple of additions in some tabs, as we shall see later on.
In the top left corner of all tabs, you can always see the logo of this risk management application.
When you click on the logo, the window activates and opens the Home tab.
Each tab, has a Title.
This Title is always the same as the name of the tab.
This way, there is no confusion possible.
Underneath the Title of the tab, the Organization Name is displayed.
This is the Organization Name entered in the Home tab.
If no Organization Name is entered in the Home tab, a message is automatically displayed, which tells you to enter an Organization Name in the Home tab.
Underneath the Title of the tab and the Organization Name, you can see the Home link, and the Training link.
When you click on the Home link, the window activates and opens the Home tab.
When you click on the Training link, this opens your default web browser, which will go to the website www.managenable.com, specifically, to the training page dedicated to the tab where you clicked that link.
In some tabs, you may also see 1 or 2 buttons: Go To Top, and, Align Rows.
The button Go To Top brings you back to the top of the current tab.
For example, if you are entering items deep in the tab…
… and you want to go back to the top of the tab, instead of scrolling the window, you can simply click on that button and this will bring you back to the top of the tab.
The button Align Rows aligns all rows in the current tab.
For example, if you have one or several cells spreading over multiple lines and Microsoft® Excel did not align the rows by itself…
… you can simply click on that button to align all rows.
