In this training, I will briefly explain how you can copy any chart from a Charts tab, in Managenable® risk template software.

All charts in all Charts tabs can be copied and pasted the same way.

As an example, let’s copy and paste a chart from the group of charts titled Risk Gap to Control, in Risk Charts tab.
This group of charts shows the difference, or gap, between the Acceptable and Residual Risk Levels.

Let’s copy and paste the column chart.

Example: Column Chart

To copy that chart, simply hover you mouse on any corner of the chart. Actually, you really need to go to the edge. The mouse cursor will change from an arrow to a cross.

When it becomes a cross, simply click where the cross is located. The whole white area for the chart will be highlighted. The color of the highlight will change depending on the Microsoft® Excel version that you use, and other personal settings on your computer. The chart to be copied is now selected.

To copy the chart, simply press control and the letter C on your keyboard.

To Copy: Press Ctrl C on Your Keyboard

Then, open the document where you want to paste the chart. For this example, I will use a Microsoft® Word document.

Click on the location where you want to paste the chart, and simply paste by pressing control and the letter V on your keyboard.

To Paste: Press Ctrl V on Your Keyboard

Alternatively, you can right click where you want to paste the chart, and choose among the different options for pasting.

All charts in this risk management application are borderless. However, when you paste charts as a picture, sometimes they appear with some borders.

Please note: this has nothing to do with Risk Managenable® per se.

If your chart appears with some borders, and if you want to remove these borders, simply select the chart and crop the annoying borders out of the picture.

The procedure will vary depending on the software where you pasted the chart.

In any case, each chart has a large enough inner margin to enable you to easily crop those borders, without overstepping on the information displayed in the chart.

Copying charts from this risk management tool, and pasting them anywhere else, is very easy, and enables you to quickly build-up graphically impressive reports.
